ABS Flame Retardant is ABS that allows for printing of functional prototypes and production parts. This material is ideal for printing electrical housings, connectors, or any part that requires thermal properties [up to 95°C] and flame-retardant ABS characteristics. The material is durable and sturdy allowing parts with highly flame-retardant, self-extinguishing properties. Easier to print than most industrial-grade materials. Description
- +/- 0.03MM TOLERANCE: Our ABS FR 3D printer filaments are produced with more precise specification and have a tolerance of only +/- 0.03 mm. No matter which 3D printer you are using, the consistently round diameters provide optimum flow through the extruder nozzle.
- MATERIAL PROPERTIES: Excellent strength and heat resistance. ABS that allows for printing of functional prototypes and production parts. This material is ideal for printing electrical housings, connectors, or any part that requires thermal properties [up to 95°C] and flame- retardant ABS characteristics.
- PRINT PARAMETERS: Recommended print settings will be Nozzle: 220-240℃; Bed Temperature: 100-110℃; Speed: 30mm/s –50mm/s; To print large parts without warping issue, we recommend using an enclosed printer to maintain a warm environment around the print.
- VACUUMED SEALED PACKAGING: Some 3D printing materials can be negatively affected by moisture, so this is why Our 3D printer filaments are all vacuumed sealed along with a desiccant pack. This will enable you to easily keep your 3D printer filaments at an optimal storage condition and free from dust or dirt before opening the vacuumed sealed packaging.
- STORAGE TIPS: ABS FR filament is susceptible to moisture. We recommended storing filament in a sealed plastic bag or box after each print (a large ziplock or Tupperware works well). In extreme cases where the filament gets damp, you can bake it in an oven with 50-degree Celsius for about an hour to restore its dryness.
