Original price was: ₹2,000.00.Current price is: ₹1,899.00.

ASA, also known as Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile, is a 3D printable plastic with properties similar to ABS. It was originally developed as an alternative to ABS that would be more UV resistant by changing the type of rubber that’s used in the formulation. Filament weight is 1kg, Spool & Packing weight is extra.

Description

  • +/- 0.03MM TOLERANCE: Our ASA 3D printer filaments are produced with more precise specification and have a tolerance of only +/- 0.03 mm. No matter which 3D printer you are using, the consistently round diameters provide optimum flow through the extruder nozzle.
  • WEATHER RESISTANCE: ASA filament has all the properties of 3D filament ABS with the additional features of being weather resistant. Our ASA is UV resistance and resistant to environmental stress cracking. ASA can be used outdoor for outside application such as RC planes or car accessories.
  • HIGH HEAT RESISTANCE: ASA can resist temperatures up to 100˚C (212°F) and display high toughness and impact resistance for functional application.
  • PRINT PARAMETERS: Recommended print settings will be Nozzle: 250˚C; Bed: 90˚C; Speed: 50mm/s (Settings can be adjusted depending on the 3D printer, you can refer to the 3d printer abs 1.75mm filament settings). To print large parts without warping issue, we recommend using an enclosed printer to maintain a warm environment around the print. Note: turn off the fan for better mechanical properties, turn it on at 30% for higher print quality. Selected color: Natural ASA filament 1.75mm (similar to Natural ABS filament 1.75mm)
  • VACUUMED SEALED PACKAGING: Some 3D printing materials can be negatively affected by moisture, so this is why Our 3D printer filaments are all vacuumed sealed along with a desiccant pack. This will enable you to easily keep your 3D printer filaments at an optimal storage condition and free from dust or dirt before opening the vacuumed sealed packaging.
  • STORAGE TIPS: ASA filament is susceptible to moisture. We recommended storing filament in a sealed plastic bag or box after each print (a large ziplock or Tupperware works well). In extreme cases where the filament gets damp, you can bake it in an oven with 50-degree Celsius for about an hour to restore its dryness.
